PLANETARIUM MOVIES AT SCSU
WHEN
Tuesday, June 10th, 2024
Showtimes at: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM & 5:00 PM
WHAT
We are excited to offer this amazing experience to watch the below full-dome movies followed by "Tour of the Current Night Sky". If you click on the movie title, you will be brought to a movie trailer.
9:00 AM - Out There: Quest for Extrasolar Worlds
11:00 AM - IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System
1:00 PM - Weather: Wonders & Mysteries Revealed
3:00 PM - The Sun: Our Living Star
5:00 PM - Cosmic Colors - (This is an encore showing from last year)
All of these movies are great for visitors of all ages - although, we encourage children to be at least 3 years of age, or older. The volume of the movie may be too much for little ears and we ask that audience members stay seated during the entire show. Once the "Tour of the Night Sky" begins, we try to limit exiting/entering as much as possible to allow viewer's eyes to remain adjusted to the low-light settings.
Total running time: approximately 60 minutes.
WHERE
in the Planetarium at St Cloud State University
