PLANETARIUM MOVIE AT SCSU
WHEN
Tuesday, June 6th, 2023
Showtimes at: 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM
WHAT
We are excited to offer this amazing experience to watch the movie
"Cosmic Colors" followed by "Tour of the Current Night Sky".
Learn why and how objects appear to be specific colors while also investigating the rest of the electromagnetic spectrum! Produced by the Daniel M. Soref Planetarium in cooperation with the Great Lakes Planetarium Association.
Great for visitors of all ages - although, we encourage children to be at least 3 years of age, or older. The volume of the movie may be too much for little ears and we ask that audience members stay seated during the entire show. Once the "Tour of the Night Sky" begins, we try to limit exiting/entering as much as possible to allow viewer's eyes to remain adjusted to the low-light settings.
Total running time: approximately 60 minutes.
WHERE
in the Planetarium at St Cloud State University
TICKETS REQUIRED
Each show has seating for a maximum of 50 people. So, we will be requiring tickets to ensure there is enough seating on the bus and at the show.
The FREE tickets are now available at City Hall during regular business hours: Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. You must attend the showtime that your ticket is for.
TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED!
Park in the VIP Parking Lot at The Ledge Amphitheater and grab a ride on the school bus to and from SCSU! The bus will leave the lot 30 minutes before each movie showtime, so don't be late!
